I met Robin 12 years ago at the John C Campbell Folk School, where we were both living at the time. The school was a magical place where I learned everything from banjo making to gothic book binding. What struck me most about it though, was the enormous amount of community spirit. Robin was a champion of this generous and loyal spirit of, 'I've got your back, now let's have a dance party!'
It is clear that she continues to form this sense of community everywhere she goes. And, in Liddell, has found her perfect match! Together, they seem to reflect the light in each other + shine it back out even brighter. Their wedding was a testament to this big hearted love; playful, sincere, and full of so much laughter, my cheeks literally hurt!
In true community spirit, most of the vendors were friends and family. . .
